Brooke House

Overview

Brooke House is a residential, co-educational College. Academic demands are high and the work exacting but the atmosphere is pleasant and informal, preparing students for both the responsibilities and freedoms of university and adult life.

Tuition is in small groups with an average of eight students in a class.

A wide range of A-levels is offered as part of both two-year courses and 5-term courses from January. One year and two year GCSE courses are available in up to 8 subjects. The College offers a one-year University Foundation Course in a broad range of disciplines, including Business, Law, Engineering. Art and Architecture.

There are residential places for approximately 100 girls and 100 boys and the care and welfare of students is paramount. The College offers a lively social programme of activities, including the DofE Award Scheme, enjoyed by all students, in the evenings and at weekends. Brooke House is a large, elegant Georgian mansion standing in grounds of almost two acres. Wireless internet facilities are available throughout the college buildings, including in all student accommodation.

Brooke House runs its own English Language Summer School for teenagers 12 - 17 in July and early August each year.- British Culture, Horse Riding, Football Academy, IELTS

Situated in the small, historic and typically English town of Market Harborough, Brooke House College specialises in preparing students from all over the world for entry to university in UK. A staff to student ratio of 5:1 fosters close academic and pastoral supervision and a family atmosphere. Students leave Brooke House for some of Britain's best universities, equipped with the skills, independence and maturity necessary for degree studies in UK.

Accommodation and food is available to students on all weekends and during half term. Students do not require guardians.

Offers are made following the submission of a completed registration form and all relevant academic records and references. In certain circumstances - interview/telephone interview and/or written internal English Language test administered by agency.
