The Undergraduate Scholarship is a one-off payment of £500 for students who are starting their studies at BSU in September 2025 and meet the criteria outlined below.
Criteria
To qualify, you'll need to apply through UCAS and satisfy our Admissions requirements (including through Confirmation or Clearing), and be starting your studies in September 2025.
You’ll then need to:
Achieve better than your predicted grades, or
Achieve outstanding grades of at least AAB in your A-levels (or equivalent).
How it works
If you are eligible for The Undergraduate Scholarship, the Student Finance Office will write to you and email your student account.
Please make sure that you check your account regularly as it contains important information about the payment of your scholarship.
You’ll hear whether you’ve qualified for your scholarship within the first four weeks after you've enrolled in the 25/26 academic year.
If you’ve met the conditions and are continuing your studies at Bath Spa University, you’ll receive £500 towards the end of the following January.
